I am not on one of the big teams per se, but my upline is superb. I have to say this is the most support I have ever gotten from doing a business of this kind. My sponsor almost always answers my phone calls and questions and meets with me person to person too. I love this kind of mentorship. I can't say enough about it.

The SIZE of the team is not at all important but getting connected to a mentor that you really feel inspired by and that helps keep it real. Also someone like Limey found that is a good fit.

I like my team because of the infrastructure and the ability for me to plug my new leaders in with out skipping a beat. That was big for me. Also we do not push to purchase leads. We have a higher retention that way. We build buy building relationships. BUT there are many incredible teams and honestly we are all on the same big team.

There is a NO SHUT OUT policy across the board.

Sheri,
Your story touched me. I have arthritis, but I don't let it get me down either. My youngest son a twin has high functioning autism and I looked at all the natural things I could do for him to help him. The doctors put him on all kinds of medications, etc... I finally said no more and after lots of research started him on yogurt & yogurt smoothies every day. Those who deal with autism, know how hard it is to get them to eat anything different or even take vitamins. He has his routine and drinks his yogurt every morning and since starting 4th grade has come a long way, he has almost no melt downs and copes so much better and overall is much healthier now. I do believe what we eat has a lot to do with our health. I see people dying from diabeties every day, they are willing to take any medication the doctor tells them to take, but when you tell them they can get healthly by eating certain foods, they look at you like you are a snake oil salesman. I'm still an advocate of the late Dr. Atkins. Diet plays an important part in our health. You are what you eat.
being from the south, though I do love good home cooking and that's what my company is all about. Good food and helping women be able to work from home. Just eat our cookies in moderation.
Anyway you have a great story and I just wanted you to know I was imjpressed with your strength. We need more people like you making a difference in our crazy world.
...My daughter thinks I need to be on what not to wear too. Let us know if you get on the show. I think I dress fine, but my daughter thinks I know nothing about fashion, heck she's the one wearing all the fads that we wore in the 70's & 80's. Edited by: countrygourmet

CountryGourmet! OMY! You made me want to cry. Thank you for sharing that with me. Are you by chance on Cafe mom. There are several moms there who would be blessed by what you shared here.

Docs are learning but WHOA what they won't give our kids!!!

Thank you. It is not me alone, for me it is friends and support and strength that comes flowing down from heaven.

Funny about WHAT NOT TO WEAR...I am thrilled to be in the club!!!

Hi! Just thought I'd jump in - kind of new to this site! I LOVE MELALEUCA!!!! So cool to meet you guys!

Great Company, great promoting of teamwork! It's awesome. I have been doing it for about 4 months, started as a customer and then lost my job and my friend pointed out - hey, you are a memebr, starting the business is FREE - so here I am! Loving it.

I think the thing I like the best about the company and my team (well, ANY good team works the same so I guess ALL TEAMS) is that they have created a WIN WIN WIN situation. Everything ANYBODY does helps EVERYBODY win. the company benefits from us winning, we benefit from the people we help win, our mentors win by helping us win - it is a refreshing atmosphere of ASSISTANCE vs. COMPETITION.

My friend and I are working locally to try to build a team we can meet with FACE TO FACE for weekly meetings, maybe even set up a standing presenation!! It's really fun.

Awesome to meet you guys!

Ok I did it I re-joined!! I am very excited about it!!! I've missed the products!

Here's what got me thinking about re-joining...we just moved and my kids had drawn all over the old apts walls. I wanted my deposit back so I was looking for something to take the crayon, ink, and other stuff off the wall. My hubby had taken all our cleaners to the new place except for a box in the garage that had a few things in it. Lucky for me I had a bottle of
Sol-U-Mel in that box.

It worked so well on getting the walls clean!! (Plus I like the smell of it, very clean with out being harsh. ) So that's what got me relooking at Mela

Good for you!

Sol-U-Mel is the AWESOMEST STUFF EVER. it kills cat urine odor very effectively and quickly (and dog too but cat smells worse). I use it ALL the time (3 of each type, kitty and doggy). And the wierdest testimonial I have is works well added to the laundry - well, that part isn't wierd - but when added to laundry, it gets the smudges from when firespinning poi (or other tools) hit your clothes. I have a friend who was teaching me to fire spin and I kept whacking my shirt and legs (while NOT on fire, thankfully) and they leave black smudges! Got it out GREAT.

I've also found that I would get black smudges on my handfrom reaching way intoa candle jar to light it (i didn't have a long lighter, just a normal one) and the melaleuca soap gets that off 100% while my old hand soap left a lot of it on my hands.

it's great stuff. So glad you rejoined!
