Default Great to see a grandma category

It great to see a grandma category. Even though I no longer have a child living with (although I'll bet some of you grandmas do) I still deal with issues around being a grandma. I'd love to hear from other grandmas in the group and what is going on with them.

I am a stay at home grandma - I watch my granddaughter during the week so her parents can work and not worry about daycare. I love it so much. Granddaughter is almost one and walking all over the place and has been for about 2 mos now. She keeps us busy and she is such a joy!!

I'm a stay home grandma. All my kiddos are grown and gone. I have a 3yr old grand daughter and a 7 month old grandson, Serenity and Noah. Love, love, love being a grand parent. They light up my world!

I'm not a grandma yet but I had a child later in life and with two daughters in their 20s now, I do feel like a grandma sometimes = sometimes my little one gets confused as to who mum is

I'm a work at home grandma. My daughter and grandson live with me so I see him all the time. He goes to preschool three days and week and my daughter works at home writing. My grandson will be five in June and starts kindergarten in September. Wow, how time flies. I still remember the day he was born - all 3 lbs., 5 ozs. of him. He was a preemie and boy was he tiny!

I don't know about the rest of you, but if I could bottle and sell my grandson's energy, I could retire in a heartbeat!

It's great to see ... though, pedantically, I'm not sure that "Grandma WAHMs" and "Grandpa WAHMs" is really the correct nomenclature, here: you should really be WAHGs instead, I think, which has the additional merit of being equally correct for either gender?
