Default Leapforce

Hi all, so sorry for all the questions on the random boards throughout this site, still trying to get myself adjusted for the long haul.

I just had a few questions about Leapforce. I went to their site to apply tonight and got most of the way through( my application was accepted to take the test almost immediately, which I found odd). When I got to the Independent Contractor Agreement I thought to myself that it seemed almost too easy at this point and decided to do some more research. Most of what I read was favorable, with a few sour grapes, which is expected in any online forum. But there were a few that said you had to get a business license to contract with them.

Is this true? I was under the understanding that I could just use my social security number and pay my taxes at the end of the year. I searched the forms thusfar and didn't see anything. So, am I overlooking something major, or are these people just misinformed?

Also, does anybody here have any experience working for Leapforce, if so how do you like it thusfar? The good, the bad, and the ugly?

Thanks for taking the time to read this, talk to you soon!!

Amber

I am not aware of any places that require you to have a business license to work for Leapforce.

I've worked for Leapforce for almost 2 years now. I LOVE it. The pay is good, the work isn't that hard and you can work pretty much any time you want. I did neglect it a bit while working for GAO and I just had to re-take the exam but I'm getting ready to start working again.

My only complaint is how often you get paid. They have up to 30 days after you submit your invoice to pay you and you only submit your invoice once a month. That's pretty annoying but if you're not the sole income earner, it's not bad. I submit my invoice on the 1st and usually get my check by the 25th.

Good luck! Study hard and do the practice tasks. They will help a LOT when you take the test!
