I always see people saying they use programs like toggl or Timestamp, but why?
For your invoices don't you just need to report the time you worked, down to the minute? I could track that by simply looking at the clock on my computer when I begin, and again when I end. I've heard people use these to track tasks too? Is that necessary? Why would you do that? It seems like it would slow down TPH having to alt+tab back and forth, start/stop the timer, write what each task was, etc. etc. Is there a purpose to this I'm unaware of? Sorry, i'm very very confused. Thanks! |

Tasks get lost. The system does not always work. As an IC it is important to keep very good records to ensure you are credited with all work completed, as discrepencies can lead to the termination of your contract.
