Applied and Waiting?
Hi everyone! I applied for both LF and LB and am interested if anyone else is waiting for word on their application. Maybe we can keep each other updated on if anyone is getting emails to test or not and when you applied?! I really could use this job and the waiting is the worst (and it seems it can be months). I applied at LF on 7/15/2010 and to LB on 7/20/2010. Anyone hear anything recently?

The earliest you will probably hear anything is a month and a half from the time you applied... and that's the earliest. Some people applying to LF have had longer waits or gotten no response at all and end up having to reapply with a different Gmail account.
Your best bet is to forget about it for the next month or else you'll end up driving yourself crazy.

I applied to both this week too. I have been going crazy checking my email for a response so it's good to know I should relax a bit.
I'll keep you posted if I hear anything, you too, ok?

Yay! I have to admit that I have been logging in at LF and LB every day to see if there was any update on my applications. I just logged into LF and it immediately brought up all the electronic consent forms for me to sign. I have not gotten an email from them yet, but I filled out all the paperwork and am in line to take my exam on the next batch! I hope you all hear something soon! I guess I will see how the test goes and have LB as a possible backup if I don't do well. Made my day!

Yay!! That's great Jennifer! I applied on the 20th to LF and it makes me hopeful that they still might need people.
I just checked and I had no updates yet but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Let me know how the test goes.

I just completed and passed the first part of the test! It is 1 AM and has been a looonnnggg day. The reading is intense, as is the test. Think I will take my time with part 2 and do it over a few days....
