Lionbridge is recruiting home-based workers and university students from around the world to join their Internet Assessor team focused on improving the quality of internet user experience. The Rater role involves evaluating results of a web search. Raters provide their opinion of the search result based on a set of guidelines that Lionbridge provides. Hours of work are flexible. Satish will tell us more about the Rater program, what makes a good candidate and how you can land this very cool job.

Tips for Your Job Application

The role of an Internet Assessor involves evaluating search engine results based on a set of guidelines. The subject matter is extremely varied, so the ability to research is a must.

For this job, it is also a requirement to have lived in your country for 5 years consecutively in order to be up-to-date with local current events, trends, and popular culture (state this in your cover letter).

When applying, list all of your interests, work experience, volunteering, hobbies, and anything self-taught.

Mention the things that you do on the internet -- knowing your way around it is essential.

NB. Regardless of location, a high level of English is also a requirement.
