LB Rejection

Just an FYI, here is an email I received from LB this morning:

Subject: Rejection-Reached Quota

Thank you for your application for the position of Internet Search Consultant (US) with Lionbridge.

We regret to inform you that we have reached our target quota of applicants at present. However, we would like to hold your application on file as we anticipate that we may have positions available in early 2010 and we would be interested in considering you for the role in the future.

When positions become available we will notify you by email.

Lionbridge would like to thank you for your interest in this position and apologize for any inconvenience caused.

We wish you every success in the future.

I'm sorry to hear this. I have a feeling when the other agency phases out, they may hire again. It makes sense with what your email states. Good luck to all of you.

First question, did you pass the exam? I passed their exam and got the same exact email but I was still able to acquire rating tasks. I responded directly to that email asking if this was a mistake or if I was still able to rate and they responded back saying that the email was an error and that I was still on for the rating job. Can't hurt to double check.

I was also a first time applicant, so I had never done any rating for them either.

I got the same email. Didn't get to take the exams. BUMMER!

Ugh, I just applied today before I saw this post. Oh well, I guess I'll keep trying with other companies.

I'm sorry! I applied to them back in March and didn't hear back until September. That's when I got the invite for the exam. I passed everything and got all of my login information but then received that same letter. The good news is that they did look at your application and that gives you a better chance when they hire again. Good luck guys, it took a while for me to hear back from them!
