Default Dishwashing Tip

Someone told me this a long time ago and I follow this tip to this day - with washing dishes in the dishwasher, separate your spoons, forks and knives as you put your flatware into the dishwasher and then once they are clean, they are so much easier to put away!

My friend badly injured herself falling onto knives in the dishwasher - make sure the sharp end is always pointing down !!!

I follow a similar program with my laundry - only wash one person's laundry at a time so that I only have to put away one person's.

I started doing this recently and it has made things so much simpler. Laundry doesn't seem so daunting now every day.

In our house everyone does his or her own laundry.

I did this one week to spite my husband who when he does laundry just does his. So irritating. But then I noticed how much easier it was to put away clothes. Definitely a good idea.
