I have spent a lot of money on jewelry cleaners in the past, but then a few years ago I ran out of cleaner and so while I was brushing my teeth I happened to clean my ring with the toothbrush and the toothpaste.
Wow...that's all I ever use anymore. The toothpaste really brightens my engagement ring!

And I have heard that toothpaste is a lot less harsh for real diamonds than some over the counter cleaners...
