I think TC just likes being angry.

She/he thrives on drama. She expresses how angry she/he is byfaces.

As a professional and an adult I tried to have her call me, not to get her to understand but to see if she can have a conversation without the insults.

She refused, and would rather ask for people's thoughts so she/he can turn around and attack you personally,than have normal dialogue, enough said.

Things are different with Travel Temptress/Bruce and others b/c unlike TC they can speak without getting all emotionally charged and theyremain professional.

I would take advice from TT and Bruce anyday b/c I respect them. Can't say the same for TC...maybe when she takes a chill pill, we'll see.

I doesn't really do any good to attack the people on these boards for being in an mlm.The ones that really want to be travel agents will get training, find areal host, and move onfrom the mlm model. Many vendors and the majority of the industry hasmade it clear howthey feel about all these untrained "referall agents". If you're serious about a career in travel, you'll eventually have to leave the mlm for a legit host. MLM agents are never going to get the respect of the industry as long as they are allowing anyone with a pulse to call themselves a travel agent.
I have decided to focus my time, energy and efforts on working with a state senator on getting a seller of travel law in our state. We can sit here and debate this issue all day long on a board, but it's not going to change anything. A seller of travel law however, will make a difference.
I believe the California suit will set a standard, and a chain reaction throughout the other states.

If you really want to make a difference, join ASTA. Write your congressman. Show them how consumers and aspiring business people have been duped by these mlms. And if you really want a career in travel, check out PATH or ASTA to find a legit host agency.
