Arrow Do you have health goals for 2012?

DIET ( what you EAT and how much) plus EXERCISE are the ways to stay healthy, get fit, get stronger , lose weight and reach health goals.

Though I promote an AMAZING health challenge that uses a great meal replacement shake, I am still amazed when people expect miracles and they don't want to change the rest of their meals to healthier ones or they don't get up off their butts and at least walk or lift some weights!
I know it's hard to exercise in winter ..personally I don't like to go out walking when it's under 55 or so. But I hop on the stepper when I can, I lift weights, practice Yoga and stay as active as I can. And I'm trying to pump that up to even more, especially being in my 40's where the belly fat can creep up.

Good Luck to all of you in reaching YOUR 2012 health goals!!

Hi ladies, I find that being in my 40's I have to work out differently, no longer can I just rely on aerobic activity to keep the weight off. I have to use weights to maintain my weight, anyone else realizing this? I'm not complaining, I do enjoy workout programs that incorporate weights--combination of light and heavier weights.

I DEFINITELY need weights and resistance training in my 40's. And lots and lots of walking :-)

Get back the muscle I lost last year during the first year in a new job! I still look good, but I can't do a chin-up anymore and can't do my age in push-ups. Need to get it back!
