I refuse to do girly push-ups. I refuse to do anything that guys do that's been deliberately made easier for women because we're weak. Pffffft! I'd rather do 5 good regular push-ups than 10 knee push-ups.

I'm very short and have a slight build, and I suppose I have a chip on my shoulder about people always assuming I'm weak and can't lift anthing heavier than a gallon of milk. I used to work in a horse stable where I had to throw around 60lb bales of alfalfa hay (and I was only 90 lbs at the time), so I take pride in defying expectations!

Now, my age in push-ups in only 37, and I don't know if I can keep it up as I get older, but I could do 36 last year and this year...not so much.

Yeah, soda is not great.
But I still drink about 1 a week.
I stick mostly to water, PomX, Visalus shakes and an OJ here and there.
Good Luck!

My goal kind of lingers from last year. I started my weight loss journey in March 2011 at 220lbs and managed to shave off 40lbs by the end of the year. My goal for 2012 is to get the rest of this weight off (40 more pounds) and get healthy. I'm 27 and have yet to really enjoy my youth because of my weight problem.
