Smile P.I.N.K. Method

I think I'm going to try out the P.I.N.K. Method in the next couple of weeks myself and I am looking forward to it! Has anyone tried it out around here? If so, what do you think? It just launched in November, so it hasn't been out long, but we'll see what happens.

Workouts on the Wii didn't really worked for me. Could be just me, as I rather lift weights and go for a jog.

I do some dancing as my workout training. Also, every morning, I walk for 30 minutes to warm up my bodies. I don't need more exercise workout since I'm not planning to lose weight anymore. Just enough to strengthen my body and fuel for the whole day work.

I like the Bowflex Tread Climber. You jump on that bad boy for 30 minutes and it kicks your butt.

I also like to dance for working out. Anything active is definitely good. I would love to go walking if it weren't so cold and had someone to watch my kids go. That is great that you see the benefit of exercise as an energy increase. Some people use to look at my crazy when I used to go to the gym because I am already thin. They say " Your skinny why are you here so much?" Umm because I sleep better, have more energy, keeping weight off, happier and the list goes on!

I love shorter, harder workouts. Like the turbofire hiit workouts and the p90x plyo workouts. I would rather have a shorter, more intense workout than spend hours at the gym like some of my friends do

I also like a variety of workouts along with my run.. I like to keep my body confused & I dont like to be bored by doing the same thing daily.

For the cardio portion of my workouts, I like doing the elliptical 3-4 times a week with varying inclines and speeds to keep my body guessing and working hard. I bring my Kindle to the gym with me and it helps me NOT focus on how long I am doing the cardio. I always do at least 30 minutes of cardio each time but often try to get about 45 minutes. 1-2 times a week I will powerwalk a certain route in my neighborhood.

For the second half of my workout, I alternate days with weights and circuit training. I get bored easily occasionally I will give myself a pass from the gym and do some Wii fit exercises, mainly the ones that help with balance. Since I broke my kneecap in three places 1.5 years ago, my balance is not my strong point I also make sure I do ab training at least 4 times a week as a strong core also helps with balance. Good ab muscles are also helping minimize my "pot belly".
