Question has anyone tried hcg?

I'm thinking about trying it. I gained 50 lbs when I got pregnant and I'm tired of it, I'm ready to do something about it. I don't know if I trust anything that promises 30 lbs in 30 days but I'm not sure..

one of my girlfriends tried it.. She did not loose much weight & it messed up her monthly cycles.. I am not to sure about this one. If you try it let us know how it works for you.

Please be careful ~Amy Jacobs

I wouldn't recommend it and agree with the comments about saying be careful. I also gained 50 pounds during my last pregnancy and was able to lose it all and then some - so it can definitely be done, but I did it the old fashioned way, diet and exercise. You can do it too!

oddly enough there was a segment on my local news about hcg drops for weight loss this morning.. They said the government is going to start pulling it.

Just be careful.. I definitely recommend daily exercise, portion control and drink lots of water.

I have had 4 babies.. If I can loose the weight..

You can do it!

~Amy

I heard something about the FDA pulling the product. A google search will bring up the information.

I know the frustrations of wanting to lose that baby weight and wanting to lose it NOW! But please don't sacrifice your health and body to do it.
There really is no substitution for eating a clean diet and exercising, period! Start by cutting out the sugar, bread, and alcohol (if you drink of course) from your diet. Eat lots of lean protein (fish, egg whites, chicken breast) and lots and lots of fruits and veggies. If you haven't been exercising, I recommend starting slow...but definitely join a gym or just start by walking around your neighborhood!

I am a testimony that it can be done, I gained close to 50 lbs with my second baby. He is now 2 and I am back in my size 6. I still have toning goals to meet, but I know as long as I stick to my workout and do strength training with cardio and I will get there and beyond!

Here's to being a hot mamma!

I've heard about losing weight using hcg but honestly, I don't want to try it even if I am not at my ideal weight. I've heard a lot of negative feedback using this kind of method. Better not try it for safety use.

You might want to check out this article that I read the other day might change your mind about trying HCG, anyone that only eats 500 calories a day can lose weight but I don't see how that could be healthy for anyone kwim?

I ordered it, then was afraid to try it. And frankly I knew I would not be able to sustain 500 calories for long. Then when you really thing about it, once you start eating again, the weight is going to come back and some. Although I spent $50 dollars on it, I ended up throwing it away.
