Default Zumba

I am looking for a great Zumba dvd that I can use at home. I have only tried Zumba a few times at the gym, so I will need a beginner's version. Please share your favorites. Thanks.

The only set I have is the one that comes from Zumba. I haven't used it lately but I really like it.

Loretta,

Do you like the workout? Where can I purchase it? Online or at a store? Thanks.

I had fun with the dvd's. I like Zumba because it doesn't seem like working out. I have a lot of exercise dvd's from various programs, but Zumba is the only one I didn't get bored with. The only reason I haven't used the dvd's lately is because they offer classes 3x a week at my gym.

It looks like they may have upgraded the dvd set since I purchased it. I got it direct from zumba.com. They have a free shipping offer going on right now.

You can also get it on amazon.com.

Loretta,

Thanks. I will have to check out the website. I have tried Zumba at our gym, but I cannot keep up with some of the steps. I feel like a dork. I figured I would try it in the privacy of my home. I do like that it is dancing, so it does not feel like I am working out.

I have yet to try the actual DVD of Zumba. I have Zumba for my Wii and I love it. I like it so much I made a video of it. It's posted on my youtube channel. If you have a Wii that may be a smart way to go, that way you can go at your own pace instead of a DVD or especially the gym.

The most fun I have EVER had at a gym was while taking a Zumba class here in Houston.

The instructor is very creative and incorporates belly dancing, hip hop, and other moves along with the Zumba moves.

I have tried Zumba on DVD but it was (*yawn*) boring. The girls were too skinny and therefore not realistic-looking, and it was just a really far cry from the live class.

Speaking of too skinny, this is just my opinion of course, but I like for the instructor to look in a way that is either like a normal person, or at least within reach of something that I can actually aspire to. And strangely, I find that when women are too skinny = unattractive to me. Curves are SO much more sexy.

I just got Zumba for Xbox Kinect and I'm so excited! I used to go to Zumba at the gym and loved it. Great cardio, kept my toned, whittled my waist and it was a blast! My hubby new I wanted to do it at home so he bought me the game. You can take a 60 minute class with it or play it like a game with the family. It's great!
