I just read a book called "The Coupon Diet" that's kinda interesting. Might be worth a read.

What I find that works best for me is cutting out 95% of my sugar intake via drinks. When I stopped drinking sodas, juices, any drink that's sweet, I lost quite a bit of weight just from that alone and nothing else. I do have to have my one cup of decaf with milk and sugar in the morning though...that's the one exception.

Also, I eat small meals 4-5 times per day. That seems to help a lot as well. When I started a work-out routine (exercise video) that's when my weight just melted off. I was able to reach my goal of losing 20 lbs in 4 months.

Now that I'm pregnant, I will have to do that whole routine all over again after the baby is born next May. I hope I don't gain too much weight.

What works for me is Atkins. I'm very visual, I need to see and feel the difference to keep my momentum going and this does the trick. After the 2 weeks I slowly add in low-carb foods. I do love their shakes the most! And the most important tip is water, water, water. It gets old but it helps.

I didn't find that WW would help me as much as I wanted but it was enlightening seeing how many points certain foods are.

I've kept 30 lbs off for 7 months

It's the exercise that works for me. What I mean by that is that I can't start both at the same time, exercising & eating healthier. I have to start the exercise and then eating kicks in. I find that if I keep my body moving everyday, the food takes care of itself.

I have to slowly diet - take away certain items per week until I am on a normal diet before I diet - portion control, veggies, etc. than once I see the results I exercise.

I love meal replacement shakes because they are convenient and replacing one meal a day with it is really helpful.

I find that eating clean 6 days a week and a cheat day a week. and exercising 2-3 times a week or more is the best way to keep weight off since it is not temporary it is a lifestyle.

Shake for breakfast, then 2 meals the rest of the day. Staying away from carbs, and working out 4 times a week

Smile Carbs aren't all bad

I like a shake in the morning because it gives me a great start to my day. I don't stay away from carbs however.

Not all carbs are created equal. I try to maintain a balance following the program my company has just created. It works and eating 6 meals a day I am NEVER hungry.
