I must ask this, has anyone tried the Wii-Fitness game? Does it actually helps with your working out?

Moved this to the fitness folder...You might get more response there. Take care!

I don't have it, my parents do. I never got to
explore all of the options with it that it has. The part of it I did work with was a lot of Yoga type moves, concentrating on keeping core centered and balanced. I did read an article that speculated that it would not create a fitness revolution because most would simply not use it (similar to all routines and such). But I've also seen a video where a mid-teen guy managed a lot of weight loss doing Dance Dance Revolution. I'd say if you think you'd stick with it and treat it like an investment in yourself, you could see some results from it (with that and proper nutrition, of course). The key is to simply do something, and that was the idea behind the Wii Fit....to get people to do something and disguise it as a video game. Brent

Its good for a light workout, if your training to maintain your weight or shed a few pounds, buts I dont believe it will work out if your trying to lose a lot of weight.

The key to weight loss is moving. Wii fit is an easy way to get yourself motivated to beat your last time or score, all while being in the comfort of your own home. I'm sure the more time and intensity you spend using it the more likely you will be to lose excess weight.

Well, it doesn't hurt. It probably isn't the most effective work-out routine for weight loss but if you are starting from zero exercise then yes it can be a great way to get into it. Do you already have an exercise routine?

I was the same way as the person who responded above. I LOVED Wii Fit for about two months and then it got okay and then it got really boring and lol now I don't even use it anymore.
