October is National Dessert Month and I thought I would start a thread for everyone to share their favorite low-cal dessert. If you need inspiration you can check out Fitness Magazine's website for their best low-calorie dessert recipes. I think my fav is low-cal brownies!

I'm not sure if it's low cal, but I like fruit and berry salad with some honey, the choice of ingredients depends on the season and my likings

Low Calorie Raspberry Dessert Ingredients: 1 cup raspberries, 1 cup low fat sweetened yogurt; beaten till smooth and creamy, 3-4 cookies of your choice, 3-4 tbsp sugar (optional). Method: Blend the raspberries till smooth. Add sugar and blend again for 2 minutes. Crumble the cookies into coarse powder. Then arrange the serving glasses or bowls. Arrange in layers two spoonfuls of blended raspberry, then yogurt, cookie crumbles, again a layer of raspberry, yogurt and top with some more cookie crumbles to finish. Complete filling all the serving glasses and chill until ready to serve.

The company I coach for just came out with healthy brownies!! My aunt got a sample in the mail and said they are absolutely wonderful! I can't wait to try them and I can have them for any or all of my meals!!! Woo hoo!
The come out Feb. 8th, I'm sooo excited!
