I'm not but I know people in both camps so to speak. My sister had a hysterectomy and is not on any kind of HRT, but she lost over 50 pounds - she watched what she ate and worked out at a gym - she hired a trainer to get her started.
I've got a friend that had a hysterectomy and is taking HRT. She's recently started dropping the weight by watching what she ate and working out. |

I had a partial hyster 2 years ago....keeping both ovaries. Since that time I have started taking Enjuvia. Not sure it's considered HRT tho. I also take a med for Hypothyroidism. This is what hinders my weight loss. Not to mention the fact I won't stick with an eating plan long enough to see the results.
There's a hyster forum you should visit.... wwwdothystersistersdotcom (replace dot with .) I bet you'll find some answers there! Good luck to you.
