Default Pictures in a thread

I just want a ruling in this.

I see pictures being posted alot in threads about "lifestyles" like pictures on the beach, vacation, etc.... things that they are doing because their business enables them to do it, those pictures never get deleted.

Recently I posted two pics in a thread and the thread got reported and deleted for some reason in the health and wellness folder. I guess I don't get it, isn't losing weight and being healthier part of health and wellness?????

The two pictures were of me and my wife. The first one was of her before she started her weightloss journey.

The second was of us and showed what my wife looks like today 54 pounds lighter.

I did not have any links, phone numbers, or company info in the thread. I simply stated that this is what my wife looked like before and after she started using enlyten. As you can see the photos do not even have any advertising in them.

I just want to know if I broke any forum rules or if there are just jealous people not wanting anyone to see how great my wife looks thanks to our products by "reporting" the thread?

If photos arent allowed in the health and wellness folder, then they shouldn't be allowed in any folder.

Hi,

Just want to say first...your wife looks great, congrats to her!

Pictures aren't a problem necessarily; it's the wording of a post that goes with the pictures that is typically the problem. If a post is determined to be an ad, whether blatant or subtle, it will be deleted. There is to be no advertising in any folder on this forum except for the Advertise Your Business folder or Shop with WAHMs (for hand made products) and that includes the general company folders and the company-specific folders. To advertise is not why those folders were set up.

Now if someone wants to talk about their vacation in a non-advertorial way, fine, they can post pics. A lot of members share pictures here. However, if they post pics and say "Look how much I earned this month from X company and I took this great vacation because it's such an awesome company and I earn so much and here are the pics," it should be deleted.

If this isn't clear or you have any other questions, let me know.
