Im starting my own daycare in az. i was wondering if anyone knows how long it takes to get licensed? also what are the rules for a daycare that is not licensed? ive read the state rules for a daycare in az but that only gave me info on how to get a license .....help??

Hi. I am from Texas. Although I can not directly answer your question, I just thought I'd tell you that I know a company that creates affordable websites for child care centers especially home daycares. You can check out uctnetwork.com. My best friend started a home daycare and that company did her website.

Here is the information I found. It lists all the training you have to have (to get and keep your licensing), insurance, program guidelines, nutrition that sort of thing. I hope it helps. This is the link for what I was reading Arizona Administrative Code
