m23wb, you might want to contact your postal service and ask if they offer a similar service. I've e-mailed mine and am waiting for a reply (couldtake up to 5 days - good ol' Canada Post [img]smileys/smiley29.gif[/img]). Once I hear back, I'll update for any other Canadians who might be interested.

It is free. You address the envelopes as if you were sending them, put them all in a large envelope, and mail them to the address in Alaska if you want to Northpole stamp from the post office.


Yes, it is a good idea to see if your local post office offers it, but I am still pretty sure they would have to send them to Alaska as well to get that stamp.

A question about the postmark Mrsmnr tracked down for us (which is great, btw[img]smileys/smiley2.gif[/img])...will the post office allow us to print that on our envelopes before mailing them?

that is a great question..I am not sure...[img]smileys/smiley19.gif[/img] I did call the post office (before I saw Shannon's response) to find out about the post mark process in the US, but I am not sure about the other. Maybe if we put it in a different location (unless we have some smart kiddos who can tell where it is supposed to be)
