Wow. Just like you said. I wonder if they ever gave the child to her mother, even after declaring her stillborn. Maybe even touching/smelling her mother she would have reacted and been taken care of earlier.

There is so much intervention with doctors and hospitals with birth, it makes me wonder if this is one of the reasons why she was misdiagnosed. I mean, what if the baby was immediately placed on her mother to start breastfeeding? Maybe she would have made movements as a natural instinct?

I saw this the other day and cried the rest of it. It's wonderful, horrible news. I am so glad nothing like that has happened to me. I don't know what I would do.

My wife told me about this last week and I went online and read a bunch of the stories and videos. It makes you wander how many babies are presumed stillborn that are killed because the doctors or nurses do not do a thorough check on the babies vitals? This story at least has a happy ending, thank God.

This story made me shiver to the bone. The lesson I picked up is that we should never ever give up on our children until the very end. ....Imagine what would have happened if that baby's parents did not bother to check and say goodbye?
