Hmmm. No, I have not tried a marker, but that's a good idea. I'll try it out and see what happens.

Does anyone know what the 1950's Girl Calendar looks like? Is it square, or does it have detail like the George Washington?

Has anyone heard if TD has a limited number of tries, how many times we can try to submit our kits? Somebody has written that after several attempts to pass a kit TD calculates expenses and if they have to spend more money for shipping and extra materials than person paid his deposit TD stops extending trial period and this person also doesn't get a refund back. If he want to try again, he has to pay another deposit. Is it true? I've calculated how much TD spent on shipping my kits back and extra materials.. I am afraid I am reaching my limit. From one point it's logical... why they have to waist their money, but I don't want to believe it's true. Any comments or 2 cents?

Smile My 2 cents

1 USA,
I have never read anything about them giving up on someone but If I were worried about it I think I would just ask them straight out that way you don't have to dwell on it and guess, you'll know. May I ask what it is they keep sending your books back for? I sent my 50 memos/journals in for inspection 2 weeks ago yesterday so I am waiting to see if I passed or not. I was just wondering what I might have done that would be unacceptable so I can work on it in downtime. Have a good one!

TinkerB,
Thank you, I speak time from time with Dixie and Tanya and they told me that there are a lot of different crafters. Some of them are very difficult to work with and etc... From what I understood sometimes TD makes decisions depending on sympathy/antipathy to one or another crafter. They didn't tell me that but it's understandable if someone is threatening you over the phone. So it might be true that for some crafters they did these things but of course no one will tell you that. So I thought to ask here maybe someone in the past had this experience? It's difficult to believe everything you can read about TD but it's my money and I wanted to know first from people like me here on this forum. So any comments are welcome.
I am receiving back my kit of books everytime for different reasons. As I mentioned before there are too many things you can go wrong with books that they should have at least 3 stars rating in difficultness of making them. Actually when I got my kit back first time TD mentioned just several things I had to fix but there were more things I made wrong just not many books had them. So when I received my kit back for the second time those not mentioned things were put in their note.. and so on.. Major my mistakes were gaps and slanted pages. Other things I had to fix - some books had insert pages sticking out past the covers, covers were not the same wide and other small things that you just didn't notice making a lot of books. I inspect all of my books properly before sending and it's still difficult to notice all imperfections. But I am more than determind to win this "game" so I keep trying as long as they will allow me to try

Thank you! I'll post my results within 2-3 weeks after inspection of my books. I also hope this time they'll pass.. I work so hard on them. If they pass it would be my hardest earned money in all my life

When they send the books back to you, are you expected to correct them with the materials you have already used? Or do they send you new materials when they send them back? Or do you get the books back, then if you need more supplies, you have to send in the request form? Seems like this would take a really looooong time... send in the books, wait, get the books back, need more supplies, order the supplies, wait, receive the supplies, fix the books, send back the books, wait some more...

BTW, does anyone know what the 1950's girl calendar looks like? Is it square, or is there detail to be cut out like the George Washington?

Hello,
Brand new to the forum and tiny details. I ordered the victorian cards. I figured since it was cutting i don't mind doing that. Has anyone done them or heard about them? Hi everyone

Hi Ronnie:

I tried the VCCs, but they were very tiny and really hard on my eyes, so I didn't finish them. There are two that you have to cut out notches and a couple with rounded edges.

If you decide to do them, Good Luck.

The Girl Calendar is square. Very easy.
