Renee, when this is your first kit you ordered, it can easily take 3 weeks. You need a lot of patience, but when you are working, you'll love it.

Hi all,
I think you've all convinced me to give Tiny Details a try! It sounds like something I can put down and come back to later without worrying about drying or losing my place. And maybe something I can do in front of the TV. I tried the Toe ring from NEC and it's just too many steps to do for $1.50 a piece. I've also tried the lady's belt from Hands On Hobbies. All it is is tying square knots, but you have to work with 8, 10 foot cords at once, plus beads. Just not my thing. This sounds much more managable. I like how they send you the material and not have to go out and find it.

Now...which one to choose? I'm thinking maybe something with just cutting to start with. Maybe the calling cards or the playing cards or hey maybe both, lol. Since the waiting is so long, maybe I can work on one while the other is waiting on approval.

I'm really glad that there are more than one legitament WAH craft business out there, I was getting discouraged.

havetime, no I didn't get approval on it, I tried once. The only thing I liked doing on it was the toe ring and ankle braclet. I just can't seem to find the time to get the glue gun out and really work on it. Now that my 3 year old doesn't take naps anymore, it's really difficult to find time to do anything around the house. Also, after I sent in my first one for approval my DD found my kit with the scissors and shredded the feathers, tulle. ribbon and sequin ribbon. I went out and tried to replace it all hoping it was the same quality but never really picked it up again.

Well, I'm off to order my kits from TD. Here's hoping everybody gets their kits, samples and checks quickly!

Hi Fellow TDers

I emailed Dixie about the extra samples I recv'ed with my critiqued sample. She called me back to say that she some times throws in extra samples so assemblers can see what else there is I think I will stick with VCCs. There other ones look hard. The plalying cards are cute, but sooooooooooo tiny.

No glue, feathers, or sequins??? Now that sounds appealing.

Nothing in the mail yet, Di?
I'm still waiting for my new book kits, hope they'll come tomorrow.
But now I have also books to do from CI, I brought my bows in yesterday and asked for something else. I got the books, a little different from the TD ones, but fun to do. I almost finished my kit today. My husband helped me, and guess what, he likes it too. So now we can work on double speed, haha.
