Hello Kimberly,

It is great that you have a steady flow of work from them. What projects do you work on?

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could give some tips on how to get the circle part of the Washington Calendar cut out. Do you use something in the shape of it?

I'm not approved yet so I would love that same tip!!

My latest attempt looks pretty good. I cut the bottom& sides first, then used a knife to make the cut at the very top bump. I then used the knife to cut from the bump to one side & then again on the other side. I then used a small pair of nail scissors (they have a rounded edge) to clean up the lines.

I think it looks pretty good, butI thought the same about the one that got rejected too!!

Any one else have an easier way?!

How big is the hole? There are different sized paper punches available.

I remember the last time that I worked on this project there was no need tocut out the tiny hole at the top of the calendar. You only need to cut around the outside shape.

I agree with Nishka. The sample I sent did not have the hole cut out and they did not send any comments on it.

I'm going to send in my second try tomorrow. I will keep you posted!

What I meant was the outside shape. Did you use anything special?

momw3k,
I am just trying to use a steady hand. I have not been able to think of anything to use yet, but will post if something comes to mind.
