I recieved mine about 2 weeks after i ordered it. i didnt talk to anyone on the phone or anything but i remember i ordered one thing and recieved something completely different. When i got my damaged piece back they had written a note asking me to send in another sample. Thats all the expierence ive had so far. im thinking of making another to send in.

Has anyone else received their order from Tiny Details within 1 to 2 weeks? KimberlyD, what project did you do? Was it hard?

i have only done the one sample piece of the george washington calender. I found it alittle difficult to cut around the rounded edge but i used a sharp pair of scissors to do it, then with a couple of practices i ended using a few pages at a time for the calender pages and cut them out with a paper cutter for the straight edgesand it worked pretty good.
but like i said before i only did the one. All this talking about it though makes me want to start and try it again. |

Yeah, I wish my package would have arrived today. Although I'm a bit skeptical about passing the inspection. Do you have to punch a whole at the top of the calender. I hope they don't send me something completely different like they did with you. Thanks for all of the answers you have given me KimberlyD and Kagee.

no, you dont have to poke a hole in it. for some reason i was under the impression you had already started on it. I was completely suprised how "tiny" they are.lol..
the good news is you glue the calender pages with elmers school glue and not a glue gun. i dont get along with glue guns...lol |

I also work on the calendars(1950s girl calendar). I had placed an internet order at three day priority mail and itcame on time. I made all 100 calendars, sent them in and they told me they were acceptable. I do agree that Tiny Details could work on their customer service because I did have some problems with them. I want to work on the tiny notebooks thatareaa lot harder butfetch a higher payment.
I will see how this works out.... Nishka |

nishka,
i didnt know you worked on Tiny details too in addition to NEC. cool... i emailed TD last night telling them i still had materials left from months ago and if i could start back up again. They said "of coarse, that is not an issue". So that gave me alittle incentive to try the calender again. |

I'm not sure why it took so long to get mine. I ordered with a credit card so they did not have to wait on the check to clear. I sent them several e-mails that were unanswered & none of my phone calls were returned. I finally sent them one asking to cancel the order & they GOT that one & responded immediately. They saidthey had responded to my other e-mails & they must have gone to my junk mail, but I did not find them there. They also said the delay was because of a large volume of samples they had received to inspect. I think I will try again. Everyone one has an off day (or month) & I already have the supplies. I just need lessons in cutting the top. I tried scissors too & got the best results with the small rounded toenail ones. However, the ones cut bythe knifelooked better to me. Also when they sent back my sample they did not say anything about the hole not being punched on the top. Good luck & keep us posted. Karen |

Yeah Kimberly, I actually do like their product line. I did start with them a year ago and got paid for my books but I had to stop working for them. Anyway, I figured since I am back into working from home then I might as well work with both Tiny Details and NEC. I hope that you have a good experience with them too. Let me know if there is something that I can help you out with. ![]() Nishka |
