Yay my books came today. And I'm so jazzed. I had ordered charlotte's web but instead they sent--- ELVIS! So cool The sample is smaller than I thought; I bet that happens everytime on a new TD project eh? The sample is a blue fairy book. I hope to get started on my sample tonight.

That is great Mersade!!! You are the second person to post that they have been paid by TD. I am happy that I am not the only one that is getting payment for their work. I know I will see more posts like this!!!

I took a bow break yesterday and started a book. They are a little tricky but so cute and fun to make. Oddly a book and a bow are nearlythe same size... I think I need some better cutting tools. Someone mentioned that they use nail scissors? I'm wondering what they look like?I have a dollar off coupon for some revlon ones I've been hanging on to just for this project I'm fairly certain I'll get approved on this one. My first book only had one flaw I noticed that I can fix so I'm optimistic

Hey there, this is my post in this forum.
I recently moved to a small town and it is hard to find work in anywhere but fast food places, which are out the the question. So this would be my sole form of income.

I am definitely interested in the tiny details, that is how i found this site in the first place, hah. But the turn around time is a little slow for me to be able to make rent and such each month.

now, prepare for the barrage of questions lol

Is NEC's turnaround really much faster?
and how strict are they with their inspections?
how much out of pocket money is necessary for items not included?
Does anyone have experience or suggestions for other work from home jobs?
The bare minimum i need a month is 300 dollars, do you think it is possible for me to make this?

Any help and answers would be wonderful =D

Geni,
First Welcome my new mini friend! I just started NEC projects so I havent had my own turn around from them yet but they can take a little while too. Most of us have several projects from a few different companies so that we try not to have as much downtime as possible. Just make sure you consider that there will be approval time at first which takes the longest no matter what co you work for mostly. If your going to make this your income source I would consider a few projects from TD and NEC but space them out so you are always busy with something. The great thing is there is NO LIMIT to how ever many projects you want to work on.
GL on your new adventure and once again welcome.

Chanda
It took 6 days to get my check. Another 4 days to get the next kit. I have 4 different kits out so I don't run out of work. Hope that helps.

Hint Hint

Order extra materials as soon as you get your kit. When you have enough extra material to complete a kit you won't have to wait as long because when you get your next kit, you just send in the completed kit from your extra materials with the new payment request form. Hope that makes sense.

Hi ladies,

This is my first post here. My daughter in law has started tiny details. She is wondering how you score the folds on boxes etc. and how you mark the places for folds. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I know that there is probably answers to my questions somewhere here already but I could not locate them as I read through.

Thank you in advance
Katharine
