How long does it usually take to receive your kit? I ordered two kits on the 10th, but I haven't received anything yet!!

Thanks!

It was probably two weeks for receiving my kit. Then about four weeks everytime I sent a sample in before I head back from them. HTH

I am thinking of joining NEC because I love crafts and doing things with my hands. I just wanted to ask a few question before going ahead.

1) When you order the kit how many people ordered more than one kit?
2) Also when you order the kit - did you just choose standard shipping or did you choose the faster method of shipping.
3) I am thingking about doing the Poodle Magnet and Favor Bag.

Has anyone done either of these.

4) Each time you do a new project does it have to get approved?

you can PM me.

I think they approve separately for each project

Hi There,

If anyone has done the gift bags, could you PM me, I'd like ask a "real person" their opinion of that project before I leap. I'm trying to keep my daughter & I alive on my $440 a month disability and really can't afford a financial blunder! lol?

TIA! ~Joy~

Has anyone done the favor boxes? What all is involved?

Also, on the Scottie dog, how much sewing is involved? It doesn't look like much, but someone above said that there's a lot!

you only sew on the face...eyes nose mouth. personally, i don't think its hard but for others who are really"non sewers"it might be a little tough/frustrating.

Speaking for the non-sewers, I hate it. I finally just gave the face to my mom to sew and I'll do the rest. She did the eyes in less than 5 minutes while I have been working on it off and on for about a month. LOL.

If you really can't sew (like me), I would suggest trying something else. I'm probably going to order something different myself.

I also do not think that the sewing is a big deal. I can cross stitch and sew by hand but I can't use a sewing machine or make clothing or anything. The hardest part for me is getting the front and back to line up exactly. I probaby am not tracing the patterns closely enough. Does anyone have advice for tracing and cutting to the pattern better.
