Again, I'm in NEED of a paying job that I can do at home. I'm UNABLE to do telemarketing, if you have bothered to read the questions that I've posted. I'm literally starving, and I need some suggestions on how to that without the scams on the internet. I'm not getting that here. It appears that it doesn't exist. I just want to get out of this link.

Kathy,

To get out of this link.....don't click on the WAHM board forum anymore. You are voluntarily coming onto this link to chit chat. And that is what we WAHM's (working at home mothers) do here. Particularly with this thread we talk about NEC and our projects. We don't email you! You come here. So sorry you don't like us. It is a real company, but does take a while to get approved. You really do need to search elsewhere.

Good luck!

It really sounds like nec or any other craft at home job will not serve your immediate needs.I'm sorry that I can't suggest something else that will. Getting approved and making money with nec will take you at least 3 to 5 months, and will require the purchase of several starter kits with money that you don't seem to have. Making money this way is just too long range to fulfill your immediate needs.

Perhaps you signed up to receive email notices when a forum you've participated in has someone post in it. If that's the case you can uncheck the 'email notify me of replies' box. If not, just delete the notices that you receive and don't visit the forum unlessyou choose to.

I wish you the best, and am sorry that you didn't find what you were looking for here.

Kathy

Kathy,
I did read and answer your questions on page 8 of this thread. I told you exactly how NEC worked and that there probably wasn't a crafting company outthere that would work for you in your immediate need. Unfortunely, the only other option that I know of that would pay is telemarketing and you state your unable to do that. This thread is basically for those of us that do crafts with different craft companies. We can't give you information for other jobs as we don't have that information to give to you. You would need to check out other threads in other folders and ask others if they know of anything. We all read what is posted, but only those that can help will respond. I know this probably isn't what you want to hear, but no matter what job you find working from home, it will take a while to start making some money. Even with the telemarketing... you have to go thru training before you make anything. It's a shame though that you can't do that because I know I had made some good money doing telemarketing, but couldn't do it any longer because of the kids and the background noise.

Also...if your getting emails everytime we respond, you might want to click on the blue 'Toggle email for this thread' link at the bottom of the last post on this thread.Edited by: Ruschele

Wow...crazy, but anyhoo...

Wanted to pop my head in here as I have ordered my first kit (been 2 weeks) and I'm anixously waiting. I just can't wait to get started on this. I went with the Scottie Magnet for starters but I'm seriously thinking about doing the Lion Hobby (looks fun) sometime in the near future. Anyways, just wanted to say "HI" to you all...

Hi everyone! I just ordered my first kit a week ago and am waiting for it to arrive. My daughter and I decided to try the reindeer and wool sheep for starters. She is very crafty and wanted to make a few extra bucks to go on an exchange program with school next summer so I thought this might help. Has anyone done these crafts? If so, do you have any pointers that might help us out?

hi there I am new to all of this and am really thinking about trying out NEC.. Is it really worth it with the money that you get or is this something that you just do because you enjoy doing it and it a "little" extra income?? I work as a call in so i only work like 4 hours a week and I also watch my little niece alot. I would like to be able to do something at home I enjoy doing and be able to help the husband out with bills.. Please any info that anyone has would be appreciated.. Also opinions on what project is the easiest???

Thanks

Misti

Hey,

I'm Beth! I haven't been around this forum in quite sometime. I have been busy with other ventures. I have worked for NEC for a number of years. It's a great company to be an IC for. However if you are looking at crafting as a source of great money you might want to look elsewhere as some have already said.

With NEC you can make some money to supplement your income however it will take time to get started with them. You have to pass critiques on any project you choose to do and that can take a while depending on your craft skills and even with great craft skills it can still take time to pass.

It takes drive and determination to get to the point of earning money with this company but many including myself have done it so it can be done. One of my best suggestions is after you order your kit join NEC's forum where you can get help, tips, and support from others that have passed critiques or are in the process of passing critiques. I know Chers runs the forum and she often talks with the owners of NEC for tips and suggestions for those needing help on projects.

Good luck to all! Anyone with any questions about NEC or their forum can pm me and I will try and help.

Have a great one all!
