Hey everyone it has been 35 days since the day they received my unit (per tracking #). I E-mailed 12 days ago still no response. I called a few days after I e-mailed No response. I hate to say it the guy sounded so sincere when he called to tell me I was approved. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed when I e-mailed before it took 17 or 18 days to receive a reply. This is just not going to work that is way to long to wait to be paid. Looks like I will have to go back to searching for a different company. Maybe I will give NEC a try or go back to doing the cards.
I was really wanting this one to work out for me.

I checked the mail today no payment. I finally was able to get a hold of someone sounded like the same man I spoke to before. I ask about my check and was put on hold then the call disconnected. I tried numerous times throughout the day and kept getting hung up on not sure if it was on purpose or if there is a problem with their phone line or if it was intentional. I really hope it was not. I will call again tomorrow and this will be my final attempt before I chock it up as a lost cause. I will keep my fingers crossed that it was simply a phone line error.

Sounds like you need to send a complaint to the better business bureau and the attorney general for their state. There's no reason to be so gracious - he hung up on you and now won't answer the phone. That's a very bad sign. If you do get him again, telling him you're prepared to file these complaints might get you your money.

Hi Liz, Ye I got hung up on again this morning. I will file a complaint with the BBB and my CC company to try to get my deposit. Ether way He made a load of money off the 400 bows that were sent to him and I'm sure they are being sold for huge profit. I only signed up with this company because someone on the forum stated they were legit and do pay. Maybe they did pay and stopped or maybe I was bamboozled. Either way life goes on sucks that there are people out there that are like this. How is that company still open?

I feel so sorry for you, but I told everyone my experience of last year, and I was not the only one. Right after I complained in the forum they did send me an email that I couldn't work for them anymore. It took me almost 6 months of phone calls and emails before I finally had my money, but I did got it back. I had 6 deposits in total with them. But the company does/did really exist, because 2 years ago I was in the neighborhood . We had lunch with Kris, the owner, and I felt really good about this company, that's why I build my deposits up till 6.
I'm wondering if they are still in business, because those kind of company's have a hard time. I worked for Cottage Industries till the very end, but he was forced to go out of business, too bad, in my opinion that was a very good company, and I loved working for them. If I were you, keep trying, try to call from another phone. I hope you get a hold on them and get your money back. Keep posting on the forum, I'm curious how this ends.

Hey Maria59 I must have just skimmed yours. I asked have people been paid and people said yes but it was slow I figured 30 days slow. Today is day 37 and I'm sure no check was every mailed to me. I also was personally called by Kris and he seemed so kind and sincere. Simple calling and asking was a check mailed, if that was all it took to infuriate this company to the point every time I call I'm hung up on then I have to say it's a scam. I filed a CC dispute and BBB complaint. I had hoped it was a simple phone line issue but I called from 3 different phone lines and the call was either simple released before being picked up when I blocked my number or my area code showed up on different phone lines then I was hung up on once I spoke. I was shocked because the guys seemed so genuinely nice. But then I'm sure that's what people that were duped by Madoff would say. Oh well you live and you learn. I'm sure the CC company will at least permanently reverse my deposit charge.

So sorry to hear you girls are having a bad experience with this company. I worked for them a number of years ago before they were bought out by the current owners. Back then it was a good company to work for. Once it was bought out I decided to move on to something else. In the beginning this owner seemed to have a real interest in making an honest go of it and trying to please but unfortunately that has changed from a number of people I have talked to. It's a shame things didn't stay the same. I hope you all get the money you have coming to you.

Good news I received a response from TD from my BBB complaint stating it was simply a mix up and my my has now been mail so I will let everyone know if/when I receive the check.
The response states that they have no record of me ever contacting them again which either they have bad record keeping or I don't know what. You should respond to the BBB update with specific details of the phone numbers you called, the dates you called them, and the conversations you had.
Basically - they are lying to make your BBB complaint look baseless and make it look like it was your fault. In reality, they are only agreeing to pay you to get your BBB complaint to go away. So wait for the payment to come in and then update your complaint with the full story so other people won't get scammed.
