It would be interesting to see if they "bought back" the sample they sent you, if you sent that in, or if they'd reject it.

If you sent in their sample and they rejected it, i'd have a little discussion with the business owner about misleading people.

Well, I got my starter kit, and I have to say, I love it!

The morning after I finished them, I took them to my gym, and sold 8 after walking in the door!!

I've already got an order for 10 more! I did give a few away, to
people I know would promote it. Even worked out a deal w/ my
girlfriend's son. If he sells them, I'm giving him a buck a
piece! LOL!

Selling the starter kit crosses, more than paid for more supplies. So the next shipment should arrive any time now.

I love doing craft shows, so I have no problem selling them on my
own. I may send in ten after more practice to see if they'd buy
them back. but you definately make more money selling them
yourself!!!

I've been doing piece work for 3 years now. And I definately know
how picky companies are. I won't send in any that aren't
perfect. That's for sure!

Hi.

I'm new. Early this morning I ordered the starter kit. Christy was saying that she never utlized the BBP. After reading about how "extremely picky" DC is I probably will just stick with selling them myself. I already have a few thought of customers to market to.

1. So, with the starter kit, do I have to send in the crosses I do for inspection or can I turn around and sell them without being inspected?

2. Christy have you had DC inspect any of your crosses from the starter kit before you started selling them on your own?

3.What are the best pliers I should buy? Should I buy the one's through DC's store?

Thanks greatly in advance,

1. So, with the starter kit, do I have to send in the crosses I do for inspection or can I turn around and sell them without being inspected? Look at your contract. I've heard the newer ones say you have to send in some before you can sell them on your own. If it doesn't say it, then you don't need to.

2. Christy have you had DC inspect any of your crosses from the starter kit before you started selling them on your own? No I have never sent them in for inspection and have never had a problem selling them on my own.

3.What are the best pliers I should buy? Should I buy the one's through DC's store? I would highly recommend buying the longneck needle nose as sold in DC's store because they are very difficult to find at the store. As far as the vice grips you'll need, I bought the actual VICE GRIPS (don't know if I spelled that right) brand.

Good luck and let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

Christy

Thanks greatly in advance,

Sina

I've been reading this thread and observing the good and the bad. I think this would be a great thing to do, if they company was not so 'picky'.

I'm for this type of work, but I found some negative reviews about this company http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff149992.htm. So, I'm not sure about it.

Those of you that have been doing this for a long time, please let me know if you find the review to be true or not. Thanks.

Well, It's interesting to me that there is only one complaint on that site, and it was submitted July of last year!

I don't see what the big deal is about the BBP. Is it that much
trouble to sell them on your own? You make more money that way
anyway. Seriously.
