The thing that I like about this company/thread is that it doesn't benefit these people to tell us how good they sell.

LOL, if they are lucky, they get $10 1 time if we sign under them, but then we are potential competition

One reason I decided to join

PS, I know your joking, just thought about this and was thinking how refreshing it is.

Why is the clear coat acrylic needed? Does it have a loud smell to where I would have to take this step outside on the porch so it wont stink up the house?

The clear coat acrylic coats the nails so they don't rust and gives them a seal.

YES - it does SMELL and you need to take it to the porch!!!

I would also not recommend their buy back program for 2 reasons.

1. They are incredibly picky.

2. They sell on their own just fine as you can tell from other posts here.

I have sold wholesale to 3 different retail stores in my area. Well, 2 retail stores and 1 hair salon. When I sell wholesale, I sell them for$6 a piece and they turn around and resell them for 10 - 12.

I also go to a local flea market/trade show in my area once a month and depending on the weather, I sell anywhere from 100 to 500. That's a profit after the booth rental and all of about $850 to $4000. Since I only do this to supplement our income, either way it's great!

Feel free to contact me I'd be happy to share any info I can. It'sa great business.

This was from page one, but it answers your question in regards to what someone has done. I think most of us here are new.

Thanks, I know I saw that before.....

Well, my kit is about a 4 hour drive away now, and it left there about 3 hours ago. Don't know if UPS will deliver today, or tommorrow, but it's not due till Monday.

Fingers crossed it comes by tommorrow so I can spend the weekend learning and assembling. Hopefully sell them by mid week and order more supplies

Hi everyone!

I just bought my starter kit today. I'm pretty excited to get this rolling. Do you know if you can buy the grip pliers cheaper anywhere else? I already have needle nose pliers but I really think I need the grip ones too as my hand strength isn't that great.

Thanks!

and I agree that feedback sites get way more negative comments than positives. People who are mad will go out of their way to let others know it, while someone with a pleasant experience will likely not think twice about it..

Yes your math is correct! It is quite a nice profit. Not to mention making the crosses are very theraputic and I enjoy making them and enjoy the response I get when people see them. They are beautiful. And just like you said, the ones with pleasant experiences don't vocalize them, which is why I'm hearing telling my good store

It depends on which ones you're talking about. If you mean the LONG NECK pliars sold on the DC site, I really recommend buying them from him because they are EXTREMELY hard to find in stores in that size. I don't know why, it's just been my experience. As far as the locking pliars, I got mine from Wal-mart and they were Vice-grip brand with really nice comfort handles in a package of 3 sizes (that including the needle-nose vice's which you'll need) for like $20.
