A lot of people are asking questions about a lot of different crafting companies. It doesn't sound like anyone has worked for Ideal Craft recently so I'm going to chronicle my dealings with them here if it's ok with you all.

So far, I mailed a check last Monday, April 2 for $29.95. This is for the boo-boo bunnies. The check has not cleared my bank but I understand I need to allow 12 working days for the check to clear.

I will add to this post as things progress. Hopefully any of you who are interested can decide if this is for you before spending the money.

Hi Beth:

I just sent a money order in to Ideal Craft for the boo-boo bunnies. I've heard that this is a good company to work for, but I won't be able to tell you anything else until I get my kit., which should be soon.

Thank you Beth! I was wondering how you were doing. Yes, please keep us updated on your progress. I thought about doing Ideal Crafts for awhile now, along with valerie's hattery, but wasn't sure if it was worth it for the few bucks profit you make. So, I keep tossing the idea back and forth. Let us know how it goes for you, and good luck!

My check cleared today, April 11. That took 8 business days from when I mailed it...not bad. Now let's see when I get my info.

Keep us posted, is the company that requires us to get our own supplies to make the product?

I too have been interested, Joanne

So the check cleared April 11 and I received my package today, April 23. The postmark on the box was dated April 16. It was sent first class from Michigan. I am a little confused as to how it took 8 days to get from East Pointe, MI to Chicago, but I'm sure that has to do with my post office...not uncommon here. So all in all, from the time I sent the check it took 22 days to receive my stuff.

I got the list of what I need to buy at the craft store as well as instructions on how to make the bunny. The one they sent is soooo cute. They don't look too hard to make. I'm not sure how practical these things are since you couldn't really wash them. If my kids used something like this it would be black and smelly after the first use. But anyhoo...if they pay me then I guess I don't care. So some time this week I will have to trek to the stores and get supplies. Looks like I might have to visit 2 or 3 stores to get what I need. And I will probably spend more than what they will pay me for the first unit, but I will also have leftovers to make future units...so we'll see how the income/expense thing works out.

So that's my update.
