I just sent in my registration for Ideal Craft bunnies last week - I'm hoping everything works out! Hearing that they've paid and approved other work quickly in the past makes me feel good about joining!

Maybe you could start a new topic in the craft forum for some feedback on the company? This thread was started in 2007 so I am guessing a lot has probably changed since then.

I'm not sure what you are wanting to know. I'm being lazy lol and didn't go back and read. I worked for Ideal Crafts mmm about 4 years ago give or take a year or two. lol It's a legit company. The projects I did for them were the sachet hats, and back then they had these wooden hearts that were decorated. I also did the spiders. If I remember right you can get supplies either on your own or through the company. I think when I did it I bought supplies on my own. It's not a huge money maker and would be good if you are looking to sell on your own too. I didn't find the projects too hard to do. The instructions seemed pretty good back then and the sample helps too. If you have any questions just ask.

Talking

I just got my first kit of bunnies from Ideal Craft yesterday. Their website said $29.95 to start up, and their order form said $19.95, so I sent a check for $19.95 and a note with my phone number if they needed the other ten dollars. They never said anything about it and mailed me my package, so I'm guessing the $19.95 is fine. I messed around with buying all my supplies last night (except the eyes - they are hard to find!) and put together three in an hour or two. The supplies are relatively cheap (the 18 pack of white washcloths they call for is $4 at walmart, and that's the most expensive part) so I think I'll be able to profit some from these in my spare time. I also work full time right now, so if I stop enjoying them, I can stop doing them...but so far I'm really happy with Ideal Crafts. I'll keep everyone updated on my progress, their approval process, and their payment times.

Oh -- and they send you a sample of exactly what you're making for size and placement references. The bunny they sent me was adorable and soft and helped get me motivated to start working on them the same day. Everything is pretty well explained and it's easy to follow their directions.

How are you doing with the bunny's? Did you send them in for approval?
