justmeuc~ Do you still have the attempts at the EVIL horse you never sent in? Heck if you give up on it just send in those and say here see i tried. LOL if nothing else maybe they will get a kick out of it and feel bad enough they will switch you then

They did say they would replace the dowels right? maybe until then you could go to your local craft store to se if they have those?

Well went to go this morning to drop off my things at the post office and found my car was broken into last night. Didnt take anything, i had nothing to take in there, except my cd's so not sure if i am glad they didnt take those or if i am offended LOL. It just is such a horrible feeling of being invaded. But still on the up side I guess I just sent all 3 of my projects and my crosses this morning, now I am going to be very impatient waiting on all 3 companies, diciples, nec, and rugs. O well I guess I will get to making my bracelts I have been doing. That will take up some time Of course I have been waiting on rugs for a while now

Good luck everyone. I finally picked up my project at the post office. Doesn't seem too bad, I'll try it I think tomorrow night after my son is asleep. He liked the sample, he kept talking about the little birdies.

Leigha Marie-no, unfortunately I threw all the old attempts away because I didn't feel they were good enough to submit. I didn't want to waste their time submitting something I knew wouldn't pass. They didn't say anything about sending me any more dowels either...guess I will try to find some locally.

I am sorry to hear about your car getting broken into!! That happened to me a few years back when I was out fishing with my kids. Somebody broke into my car and stole my portable cd player and a bunch of my cds. I was VERY upset. I wasn't very far from my car either, I can't believe they even attempted it. (although, if you look at me..I am not very frightening so it's not like I could've scared them off..lol) You feel violated when someone breaks into your stuff or steals your things. creepy too.

sojourn fan-I am glad that you were finally able to pick up your stuff...I guess it must have killed you knowing it was there and you couldn't stop in to get it. That would make me crazy! What project are you doing? Hope you do well with it! Good Luck!

It drove me nuts, especially when you work days and when you get off work that's when the post office closes.

I'm going to try the magical love birds. It mostly painting and some glitter and glue. Thanks justmeuc and good luck with your projects too. My 2 year old son wants to help, so I have to wait until he is in bed to start it.

SOJOURN FAN -- congrats on finally being able to pick up your stuff. That would have killed me, I am worse than a kid at Christmas time when it comes to that stuff. I know what you mean about kids wanting to help, my 2 and 4 year old both want to help. Thats when I put on Dora and Diego lol.
Thanks for the kind words about my car being broken into. Scary part was it was in my driveway which is very close to my daughters bedroom window. On the up side the police officer that had to come by was very nice and very cute HEHE he had to come back today because he forgot to have me sign something....I didn't mind one bit.

Thanks LeighaMarie, it drove me crazy knowing it was there.

Well I attempted the project and I don't think NEC is for me. The stuff is too small for my hands and I hate glitter. Ialso can't see myself makingthe same thing over and over again. This the 3rd project(tried two others 2 years ago) I've tried with them and I haven't been successful.I figured I'd give it a shot one last time, you know 3rd time's the charm, but hey NEC isn't for everyone, if it was then no one would be working outside their home. After going insane with glittler, I modified my birdies into a nice little orament. I like making oraments it seems from their kits. Now my reindeer has a friend

I'm not mad and still think they are a great comany. They have great customer service and all that good stuff. It's not for everyone though and it would seem I'm not good at working with little things. Oh well, live and learn. Good luck everyone. I'll be cheering you on.

Samomof3-

How long did it take you to finish your 10 scotties. I'll be receiving my sample soon and want to know what to expect. Any tips for getting approved?

Thanks,
