I am hoping to get them both done over the weekend to send out on Monday. Can I put both in one box? Do I have to send two envelopes with my samples? Thanks for any input since I'm a newby at this.
Hi Hailey'sMom, I don't work on the tutu or angel so I can't help you there, but I can say, be careful with the hot glue and after you finish your project, check it over carefully in good light for those tiny glue strings and any glue that sticks out from under fabric or anything else that has been glued. They are really picky about that.
You can send them in the same box, but be sure to send a slip for each and I always send separate return envelopes. I think they may get separated in the inspection process and then are mailed back separately.

Good Luck!

I didn't realize it was painted on. I think I'll do alot of practicing before I put it on the angel. Wish me luck!

Hi Donna
Before you paint the face on try to trim the fuzzy stuff off so it's easier to paint the face. I practice on scrap felt and then do the face once I get back in the grove of painting the heart. For the eyes, if you have a stick pin with a flat head it makes good eyes.

Good luck. The angels are fun to make. I just got done with a unit yesterday.

FYI...I've always sent multiple items in one box with only 1 return envelope and never had a problem getting items seperated.

I'm back from Thanksgiving weekend, lots of traveling lol. You know I've been meaning to ask how do you send your work back? I don't remember seeing a return slip nor instruction on how to do so in my kits.

Thanks Debbie for the info. I just finished painting the face today. I also practiced on felt until I got the hang of it. It was easier than it looked. I used a toothpick. All I have left is the glitter.
I'm ready to do the glitter now. I've never used this glue before. I'm guessing a thin layer but do I put it over the whole skirt or just in places?
Thank you everyone for your input. It really makes a difference.

The glitter goes on the whole skirt. Use a fan type brush it will put on less than a fatter brush. Just a light coating of the glue will work. Cover with glitter then let it comletely dry. Try to keep it from clumping but be sure to have an even coating of glitter all over.

Good luck

Thanks Debbie for your advice. I will try it that way. Have you been working with NEC along time? You seem to know your way around the crafting world. Wish me luck!

I've been with them for over 2 years. It's been fun working with them. I have learned so much. I hadn't made any crafts since high school so I liked that I didn't need loads of experience to make these.
Good luck on your crafts

Thanks Ruschelle, It's good to know you can send one Envelope with multiple samples. That will save on the postage.

clb- There should be a page with each kit with an assembler's agreement to read and another sheet should have a slip at the bottom to cut off and send in with your name, address, etc..., and what project and which sample (1st, 2nd, 3rd, ...) Also, be sure to sign the bottom that you have read the agreement.

Whohoo! Kits came in today's mail. I have looked them over and can't wait to start. Spent today helping a friend with something, tomorrow I have an appt, and hopefully by Friday I will start my Scottie Magnet & Reindeer. Lot's more steps than I anticipated, but looks like fun.

So, just as an FYI, considering the holiday Thursday, that was exactly one week from online order to delivery of the kits & tools all in one package with the extra $10 for the rush postage.
