I would definitely call them and tell them what happened. I'll bet they'll have another bag of glitter in the mail to you by the end of the day.

I sent them an email about the glitter. Probably hear back in a day or 2. I was hoping that laying it out to dry would help. Still wet so far.

The sparkle spray leaked out of it's bag. Both were inside a bag seperately and then in a bigger bag together. I guess the glitter bag had a hole too and soaked up some of the spray.

I'd be afraid to try to rinse it off. As tiny as it is, it will probably go right through the strainer. I might try out a small amount with a paper towel. I'll let you know how it goes...

Ok. I put some on a sturdy paper towel, put some cold water in a shallow bowl. I swished it around for a few minutes & stirred it with my finger. I drained it good then sandwished it between 2 more paper towels. I'll check back on it in the morning. I hope it dried out. I hate wasting glitter.

Ok, I'll let ya know how it is in the morning....

Believe it or not, that worked. Glitter is dry & not sticky. Nice and powdery again. Now to get it off of the towel. LOL I'll use a paint brush to get it off.

NEC hasn't answered my email yet. But I will let them know not to send the extra.

QUESTION:
On the Love Birds - Do you still use the larger glitter on the ribbon after you get approved? Reason I ask is that all I got was the fine glitter. I also asked them about that, but haven't heard back yet.

Sample kits arived in just nine days! My kitty is beside herself...feathers, beads, shiny things...better than catnip. All I have to do is conquer the dredded glue gun. Will let you all know how it goes.

Good luck with the glue gun. It does take practice, but like everything else here, it gets easier with practice.

I've been doing the MLB's for awhile now and have always gotten the larger gold glitter for the letter. They may be low on that specific glitter.
