Nanc goodluck with passing on the penguin and snowman. I just wish I could do those fibre ones and woll wrapping ones but I am not good at it. The sheep one took me 5 tries and then I gave up on that and switch to another. If it was not for the wool I would have been okay.
Good luck to everyone else trying to pass. Just hang in there. I know at times it takes a long time and can get very dissapointing when you do not pass but believe me when I say that this is a good company and just hang in there. I did and I know if I can do it everyone else can.

Thank you all for the great words of kindness! I'm excited for all of you to pass as well! myiiisons-I passed on the kitty, scottie, standing poodle (old styles) they switched me (I didn't request it) to the new styles. I didn't want to do the new style magnets so I switched to other projects. I still have to do the new style sitting poodle magnet as that was my replacement project for my carousel horse that made me pull my hair out..LOL. After doing that magnet, that is when I decided not to do the other magnets. It's just too time consuming for me. They sent me 10 tropical birdhouses to do, and it took me quite a while to make them. Very time consuming. I am mailing them out tomorrow. The birdhouses are the same houses used for the gingerbread houses so you know. I was kind of bummed when they switched me over to the new magnets after waiting 5-6 tries to pass on the old style(took me 5-6 months to pass!). I had to start all over again. If it wasn't for the other ladies here telling their experiences, I might have thought it was a scam. But they did send me work and paid me for it so I kept going. Now, I have passed the tropical birdhouses and I think it shouldn't be too much longer before I pass some of the others. I guess I just had bad timing. I didn't have any real craft experience before either so it is taking me longer to pass inspections than it would someone with experience already. I am working on these projects: tropical birdhouse (passed now..yay!) sitting poodle magnet (4th try...waiting for inspection) glitter nest (1st try...waiting on inspection) magical lovebirds (1st try..waiting on inspection) tiny tutu (traded old style kitty for this kit...waiting for it in mail) drum (5th try..waiting on inspection) The drum is the easiest and least time consuming of them all I think. I haven't passed yet, but I think it's a matter of me getting the end pieces to overhang the drum correctly. Nothing major nor very difficult, i'm just all thumbs sometimes...lol. I am cheering for allof you to pass! Don't give up, if something is just way too difficult after you gave it 5-6 tries and it's not getting any easier, then perhaps switch. I think practice makes perfect and we should all speed up eventually. |

Hi all, Just sending a little update. I finally got my magical birds back on Friday. Apparently, the birds got disconnected before they received it, and when I got it back it was all basically in pieces, but some of that could of been from when they returned it back to me in the self addressed envelope I sent in with my inspection. So...I think for now on, I'll send my inspections in a box instead of an envelope to avoid damage to the piece. However, there were able to inspect most of it and the only flag I got was too much glue used when applying the bead to the head. (other than the fact that they couldn't inspect the position of the birds of course, since they were disconnected). So I'll have to try again. I think I figured out how to apply that bead now, as I don't see a hint of glue anywhere around the bead on the head and it's still stuck. I'm hoping to get this done tonight and resent out. I plan on sending the reindeer and penguin out as well, so I'll be waiting for 3 inspections. Although the reindeer will go right to the owner as I was approved on that once before. I've also decided to take a leap and try the drum as well, so I'm waiting for that kit to arrive. I was doing some items for Ideal crafts, but the profit isn't there for those kits, so I think I'll just do and send in what I have to on those to get my registration money back and just concentrate on doing a bunch of different items here for NEC.Edited by: Ruschele

[
It's my understanding that the max income is the most you can make in a shipment of that project. However, it may take them 3-4 weeks before they send you more supplies to make more. You start out making only 10 items and send them back. Then they send you 25, and the next month say 50. They keep sending you more at a time until you reach max. I am also understanding that they will also only send you what they need as well. They can't send you 250 items to make if they can only sell 50 a month. So, it varies. That is why so many of us are working on many projects at once. That way you can be working on one thing, while waiting for more supplies for another. It's best to do as many projects as you can so you can always have supplies coming in. Depending on the sales, and what they need will depend on what they send you. If you go back to page 13 (i think that is it) I posted how long it takes and what to expect etc...I am no expert by any means, but I thought it would be helpful for others to understand what my experiences have been so far. Hope this helps.
Ok yes thank you that does help alot! Now I see why you ladies are working on more than one project at a time!![]() Jen |

Well, I got my cd back yesterday. Took two weeks and a day. The day was probly cause of labor day holiday. Anyway, I didn't do too bad. I need to make the round corners a bit more round. And the tab was a bit larger than they wanted. No problem. I think I can do that. I was worried that I would have problems with the felt scotty dog on the front, but that came back good. I really liked the letter they send back, that encourages you not to give up. Thats one of the things I love about this company. Now that all the kids are back in school, I have quiet for a few hours, so I can really pay attention to the next cd case. Then I gotta study a bit myself for school later on. So here I go again., off to the sewing machine. Yippeeeee. No really Yipppeee. This is so much fun. Talk later. Krazy Kate

I was under the impression that for the kitty magnet for example, you can make 250 a week, every week. Ugh That was my main reason for doing this, lol.
Now I see why you ladies are working on more than one project at a time!
