Hello fellow scottie maker, I have ordered the scottie magnet kit but am waiting for it to arrive. What sort of "issues" have you run into on this project? I am
a little nervous about the gluegun work but am prepared to submit as many times as they ask me to, just to get approved. Sounds like a person would always have to cautious in making any project that needs to be approved on a continuous basis in order to get paid for it. I plan to have some pleasant music on and tea ready for my breaks. Also must keep an eye on the time so I can put away my stuff before my teen gets home from school. Well, take care, and best of luck on all this. |

lucky-mom, you definitely use a sewing machine for the CD Case, not hand sewing, although there is some handsewing involved in the embellishments on it. It does not have a zipper.
Once approved you are paid by check. Nothing is withheld from it. My checks include both the payment for the unit and the postage that I paid to send it in. Usually you get enough for 3 tries of your project at a time. For the cd cases, I got material for them one at a time, but I would guess that it's the only project that gets material one at a time. After 3 tries, you get more supplies for 3 more approval pieces if you haven't passed yet. Kathy |

I just found out about this company last night. There are SO many posts on this thread, that I just don't have time to go through all of them, but I do have a few questions:

Thanks for all the information.. I have made up my mind finally..lol I'm going to start with the angel.. I may have a million misfits on my shelf but I will get approved one day.lol... I'm a very persistent person who loves a challenge, so think this will be good for me. Oh and I want to say Thank you to those who signed up for Cashle who helped me gain the money to get a project. today I stand within 30 cents of being able to order a kit, glue gun/sticks, and a sample project and my hubby said he will loan me the cents. I only have a week to pay him back though...lol Of course I started chucking pop bottles at his head each 10 refund, and now I don't own him a cent.lol</span></span></span> Edited by: lucky-mom |

Hey TBs
I will be starting on #4 for the toe soon. I got red/red this time around. I don't have any spare red feathers, so I hope they sent enough. Di, you should have the toe rolling down to a science by now. I have slacked off on making them and just make one at a time now. Good luck all |

Hey Debbie,
When I glue my bird, I glue it to the roof and then the feathers really good around it. I make sure the the bird and feathers are glued really tight and nothing moves and no glue is showing. Hope this helps. Hope everyone is doing good on their crafts. It's about time for some approvals. Kelley |

I sent in my first sheep today. I think it's a pretty good first try, but can always be better.
I've been busy lately sewing sequins onto poodle skirts. I think that's the most time consuming part of that project. I've sewn 400 sequins onto 50 of the little skirts! Kathy |
