Just Pleased as Punch I got back my critique today! Although I FAILED to pass. I was only sighted for a few things. My HAT mostly. Funny I thought it was the best part of my snowman.

Wrapping of Wool: just right
Hanger: correct location
Hat: too small - top circle should be trimmed - hat needs to be more neatly constructed.
Scarf: correct length - sparkle spray & glitter correct
Eyes: correct location
Buttons: correct location
Nose: correct
Arms: correct

I was so for sure they were going to slap my hand for various other violations! But I guess I was being too hard on myself, which is a relief. And now that I have my snowman back I can see what they are talking about with the hat. I don't think I put enough glue on it to withstand a close inspection including lots ofpoking & prodding. My Snowy looks like he's been through a war...I suspect he's been through lots of tugging...he looks spent. His nose even fell off on the return trip.

I'm excited to try again! I think this is very do-able! Keep you posted. Nanc

Hey nanc thats great news! Only one thing to improve on. Not bad at all. You really have a great attitude towards things. I hope it's rubbing off. I think I have a couple weeks at least to get mine back. I only sent it in this past saturday. Keep us up to date. Later Krazy Kate

Nanc that is great. Although you failed,it's a good sign thatthey only found fault with the hat. That's not bad for that being your first attempt. Good luck with your second, it sounds like it won't take you long to pass.

Good luck Kate with your CD case too.Edited by: sojourn_fan

Hi all, I looking for some help with the following:

I'm currently trying to the love birds and have submitted my 1st sample in for approval. I'm just waiting for the results. I did try and do the penguin and the reindeer in the past but haven't done them in almost a year, but I called them and told them I still had the materials and wondered if I could start back up with them. Here's my issues though:

I've tried doing the penguin and couldn't get the wool right. For those of you who seem to be able to do it, can you offer any tips or advice on getting it right. I thought of ordering the DVD, which they didn't have before, but 19.99 seems like alot of money to me. I called them and for some reason I would have to pay the 19.99 instead of the 14.99. I think it's because I'm not ordering the kit since I already have it. Maybe its the difference in shipping costs.

I also did the reindeer and was able to pass inspection on the 1st try and did a couple units for them, but I had to stop for awhile. Now I'm trying to get back into it.. I was told I just have to send another sample in for inspection to get restarted...but I can't seem to find my instructions. I have all the patterns and all the materials still, but no instructions. If anyone is currently doing the reindeer can you please PM me and perhaps help me out with the instructions. I would really appreciate it.

Thanks.

Thanks.

Hi everyone and thanks for all the Hellos! I just wanted to say that today my kitty magnet arrived in the mail. So it took 3 days exactly to get here!
So far it doesnt look too hard to do except the wood pieces that they sent for me to use are a lot more narrow than in the sample so I dont know how I will fit the writing on it when I am done? Oh well I will figure it out some way.

I will keep you posted!

Hurray my little penguins came in the mail today. It was worth the extra $ for quick shipping! Only 3 days! They look a little tricky. I think I will wait till the kids go to bed to try them.

Hello everyone.........I am doing the sitting poodle magnet and I have failed 3 times now. My problem is that I put too much glitter on it after I put that spray stuff on. The spray stuff is like some sort of glue and after that, it tells me to sprinkle the glitter on. I do that and my poodle looks very very sparkly. LOL. Any advice? Thanks..........Sharon

Hey guys, I recently bought the CD case, the penguin, and the snowman along with the DVDs. I got another job and never even got to start my projects so I'm willing to sell them to anyone who wants them! Do you guys think it would be worthwhile to list them on eBay? I feel bad having them sit there knowing that I can't return them and will never be able to get around to the projects. So let me know if you're interested!!
