Yippeeee, my cd case came today! Boy is this gonna be fun! I have already cut out the pattern and Im looking for some thread in my house to match the fabric. (Have to supply that myself, but no biggy) It looks pretty simple, my daughters wedding dress was way harder that this. LOL. But I wont assume anything. I am the student here. I 'am so tickled, the case is so adorable. It has batting so it's soft. And on the outside is a flannel cutout of the scotty dog. So cute. My 12 year old daughter wants it! Well Im off to work, heres hoping mine ends up looking like it should. Bye ya'll.

kateintexas good luck with your CD case. moongdss81 I'm sorry you're frustrated and it's okay to vent. If your sample is this bad though, I'd call up NEC and complain about how they rejected your piece but the sample they sent isn't that great.

I know that at times the sample does not look that great but it is just something to guide you along to know what you are making. Your product has to look better than the sample and always strive for that.

Good luck for those trying to pass.

Tink28, did you take the plunge? I hope you did the Penquin is too cute to pass up...I was torn between him and the snowman and went with snowy. I might try him next wether I get approved on snowy or not. Good Luck and Go For IT!

Moon, that stinks and I'm soo sorry! Maybe you did get critiqued byNurse Ratched this go around I hope your next attempt is more successful. Wow, hot glue showing I thought that was the BIG no no ! I'd be giving them a jingle to see what's up?!

Kate, happy to hear that your kit came in! Wedding dress vs CD Case had me chuckling. I'm sure you'll do fine. Wow an entire dress! I can't follow a pattern and get fustrated and end up winging it in the end...I admire your tenacity. Nanc

OK, I am done with my cd case sample and Im sending it back today. Didnt take very long to do. I hope that doesnt mean I didnt do it well. I"ll find out soon enough. How long does it usually take to get the results back from a sample? I guess I should look that up. Sorry. Well, gotta go. Oh yea, Nanc, I love that sign. I bonded with it right off. Fits my life real good. Krazy Kate in texas

I finally received my kit although it wasn't the gingerbread house I ordered. They said they were out of those and sent me the tropical bird house instead. So I'll try those. Any suggestions? Karen
