Thank you all for taking time out of your busy scheduals to answer my questions, I know how it can be answering all the same questions all the time. Sometimes I feel so bewildered by everything You all have been very helpful to me. I do want to try it. Right now I am checking into online schooling and then I might try this on the side. Again I do appreciate it, and thank you very much.

Your welcome everyone. I just didn't want anyone to lose the chance of working with them because they are a good company to work for. There is a lot of information here in this thread, and you can also call NEC and they will help you as well. Their customer service people are very nice and helpful and they don't seem to mind answering questions. We can tell you about the company here as far as them being legit, but we can't really help you with the projects. If you get stuck on something, try giving them a call, they can help you out. ![]() Best wishes for all of you...and don't give up if it takes you a few tries. If you like making your project, then keep at it. Also, they have different people inspecting so one might pass something while another won't. Just keep perfecting it and you will get it. |

Well, I am getting excited about getting my first kit. I am waiting for the cd case. I am hoping it will be here on tuesday. Seems to be about 2 weeks. Before I ordered it I was skeptical, and emailed the company to see if they even existed. I was very pleasantly surprised to get a reply back, and very timely I might ad. Everything was explained in detail to me how it worked. I feel very confident that this is finally the real thing, although I do expect to work hard. Which is what I want anyway. It sure does feel good to not have to worry about getting ripped off again. Life can be a big challange as it is.

Hi,
I am new to this forum and NEC but wanted to say hi. I got my first kit today and have been working on my first one for a few hours - I think I should have come here first and I picked the wrong project. I picked the sheep because it looked fairly easy. I basically chose based on the fee - figuring the easier projects paid less. But I am not sure I can wrap that wool! from reading here that seems to be a common problem. Heck, I am not even sure I can pull the wool! I do have a call into them, because they only sent me enough to make 1.5 projects (instead of 3). But I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. My sheep is very cute up until the wrapping part and I love to do crafts so I should be good at this.... My dd thinks it is cuter without the wool though. Any help would be appreciated! |

I can't help you with the sheep, but you can return the kit and request something else as long as you send all the materials back unused. Otherwise you will have to wait until you send in 5 separate tries before you are able to switch to something different.

Well they might let her return it if she used some of the materials if it is within 30 days. When I ordered the reindeer I realized it wasn't for me and contacted them, they allowed me to switch.I had to mail back the kit and what materials were left. Of course that was in 2005 so they might notallow that to happen anymore. Edited by: sojourn_fan
