Hello all,
I just got my second critique back on my "evil horse" lol. It was so much better than my first . I just have to add more glitter to my post, and all over be more careful with the glue, left a spot on reins, and cut saddle more neatly. I am hoping that 3 trys will be the charm for me. Cathy

Congrats on receiving 3 checks Ruschele. It is so nice to receive money. Moonbeam why do you sand the boards. If I am correct you are making the magnets. I have never sanded the boards! What I am trying to fins is an easier way of painting the polka dots. Just hate the polka dots.

If you will look back a little on either this thread or the projects thread, craftinggranny talks about what she uses to make the dots. I think you can find them in the paint brush area at both Joann's and Hobby Lobby. It's like a little round sponge on the end of a stick. That's what she uses and has never had a problem with the dots when using them.
It's great to receive the checks. That's what keeps us going.

I sand the boards too--it makes them look sooooo much nicer
. It must be the artist in me, but I have always sanded anything made of wood, so it was just natural to sand the boards![]() Susan p.s. for the dots I use a circle template and a small brush with firm, angled bristles in order to keep the edges neat. Quote:
