justmeuc........you sound pretty crafty. Congrats on passing the scottie project. I was doing the sitting poodle magnet, but it is just too hard. I ordered the snowman kit.I hope I have better luck with that. Thanks for all of your support with all of us and for answering our questions. I wish you luck with the other 5 projects............Sharon

I passed on the first try for gingerbread houses, I think alot depends on their needs. Gingerbread houses are not easy, however.

lmlusk... what do you have to do for the house? I have been looking at it for a while, I think it's cute but not sure how hard it may be. Is that one you have to spakle, paint, mold, what?? could you give me an idea please?
Thanks

LeiqhaMarie...There are a lot of steps to it. You cover the house with spackle, cut out the doors and windows, paint the house, then glitter it before it dries. Next, spackle the roof to make it look like snow, paint the roof, then glitter it.Make the scallops on the front and back with raised paint.Meanwhile, you shape and bake the tiny gingerbread boy and candy cane, paint and glitter GB Boy and paint the candy cane. Then you paint the door and windows you have sculpted out then outline the door with raised paint and outline windows and panes with raised paint, then glue GB Boy and candy cane to the front.

WOW! That house takes alot of work!! So glad I did not choose that one for my very first craft. I almost chose it!! Kudos to you lmlusk for passing on that one at all!!

I am trying to be patient while I wait for my tropical birdhouse to get here. I am a newbie and I have been told it was one of the easier ones to do. I sure hope so.

justmeuc-have you heard back on yours yet?? Let us know how you did. Was the birdhouse very hard?
