Kathi you are so funny. You should have mailed it in a box. I do that sometimes. But it is hard to find small good size boxes. I will find a box (could be a zip lock box) then where it is open wrap some xardstock around that and tape and re-wrap with brown paper and mail.
justmeuc if I took a trimmer I am sure my sheep will be hairless by the time I am finish with the trimmer. The DVD helped to some degree but the womans hands were in the way and fingers. Wish they would have made it in slow motion so I could really see how the sheep was wrapped. The good thing out of the DVD is that I knowhow to hold the sheep and wrap but have found it hard because I am not use to it. Good luck with the drum jowho and kathi. |

I tried the reindeer first. LOL. Yeah that was the wrong one for me. He is cute but evil. I got so mad making him I modified him into a nice Christmas oranment. ![]() Then I was able to trade the reinder in for the toe ring. Did great until the cone. The cone drove me insane, I made two samples. Neither passed but they also told me they weren't bad. Just I couldn't figure out how to make that ribbon on the cone not lumpy. Shape was better on the second one and I didn't do too bad on the feathers. Now I think of it, I probably have idea now how to make the cone less lumpy. I got too busy to ever try a 3rd time. I still have the toe ring kit, I wonder if I should try again and send it. I'm sorta of debating it. Edited by: sojourn_fan

Did NEC actually accept the ribbon on the top of the cone?Asfor the bows, if you work with the whole length of the ribbonwith out cutting it first, it is easier. If they buy them from you and the bow is the only thing giving you trouble,it is almost easier to buy your own ribbon, then you can use as much as you need. The ribbon is really cheap. Send the sample to the owner. The ribbon on theirs was so lumpy. I did't tell my husband what set was mine and inspect it. When hechecked each one overhe made some comments on both of them. One comment was the top was too lumpy and the seam of the ribbon was down the front of the cone and the directions said not to do it that way. When I told him the lumpy one was theirs he couldnt believe it. That is when I sent it to the owner. It took 3 weeks to get it back from her. She agreed that mine was not lumpy. But naturally she had to find something wrong about it this time it was too much glue. Just one more little tid bit, I when I told them in the beging the sample was terrible they said "oh you are only suppose to use it for reference". If I didn't want to give them anymore money I would buy one from them and see the workman ship.

I might this weekend just for the heck of it. Might be fun dusting off the kit.

sojourn_fan - you might as well dust off the kit -- you already spent a lot of money for it, it would be nice to hear that you made some of that money back!!

Yeah that would be nice. I don't there is actually a time limit on sending them samples for inspection. I got so busy with work and my son I forgot about it for so long. Do the magnets all require using glitter? |

The magnets do require glitter, painting, cutting, gluingand sewing. Edited by: samomof3
