I am thinking about ordering from them.

Do you need to be super crafty to do this stuff?

I want to try something with a glue gun, because I can't sew and clay is out of the question. :-).

Do I just pay the 40bucks and then if something doesnt pass, they send me more supplies for free?
Do I need to purchase anything for the projects? and what would you reccomend?

thanks alot, I've read this whole thread and its been helpful, and pushed me to want to sign up! :-)

I dont think you need to be SUPER crafty for them, but a little crafty wont hurt. You od need a lot of patience. I find and I think most people agree it is hard to pass inspection, however it is possible and I have heard it is worth it. I am still trying to pass 3(drum, scottie magnet new style, and toe ring.)
Yes you send them the 39.95 they send you a kit with enough material for 3 tries. you send in 1 at a time to try to pass, each time they send one back they will tell you what needs to be changed. after the third try if you havent passed they wll send a refil kit allthough u may need to send in a note to remind them, if you need more of something during the trial period you can ask them to send it back with your "try" I find they are VERY good at that.
There are some things you will need to buy, glue gun being one for I think all projects, I may be wrong, some require you to get little things like a little bottle of paint to draw letters or small things like that, nothing big. I think all I have had to buy for my projects (and some I already had) are: scissors, glue gun, paint brushes, a small bottle of paint, pain pen,and needles.

Speaking only from my experiences here but i would strongly suggest that if your not super duper wooper crafty STAY AWAY FROM THE REINDEER AND HORSE!!!!!!!!!! They are known here as evil LOL, I think the scottie magnet is fairly easy, u have to cut, glue, paint on glitter and paint a white circle but thats easy, You really cant mess that up and you write scottish terrier with a pen and that pretty much it. my second would be the drum, again glue, painting glitter on, and stitching but only to make the triangle lines, I cant sew but I can do this so not hard. then i would suggest the toe ring, its fairly easy also but making the bag I find a bit tricky mainly on the feather part and getting the ribbon tied perfectly.

Well thats my opinion anyway. Wow I am long winded lol. Hope it helps!

I was thinking of starting with one of the magnets first. They looked the easiest. Haha.

After they send the refill kit and still don't pass do they continue?

Are there any scissors or glue guns you ladies reccomend? right now I'm on a tight budget and have both, but if something is better, I would gladly run out and get it after I recieve my first kit.

Thanks for the advice!

They keep sending refill kits as long as needed.
I use the small black and yellow cutter bee sissors, they are very sharp. And most of us use the mini glue guns.
Good luck with the magnets.

Reindeer=Evil

Ashleigh02 the projects have a lot of steps and take some time and patience. (Patience something I don't have....) The projects are small and best for those good with working with little things.

NEC's people are helpful. Good luck.

I finally got my kit but they were out of the Scottie which I didn't find out until I received my kit. They gave me the sitting poodle as a replacement. Which was my second choice but I hope I can pass. Has anyone done the sitting poodle yet?

Hi ladies! Hope y'all doing fine! I finally got my drum kit and just done the first. How, though, do you send back this little thing without getting it arriving looking 'like a pancake'? Thanks.
