Leugha sorry that you did not pass the Scotty. What did they say you needed to correct. I am still waiting for more supplies. They told me I should receive it next week.

I'm sorry you didn't pass too! Don't give up though. I thought mine was perfect this last time (3rd try) but I didn't pass either. When i saw what was wrong, I realized that they were right and I just didn't see it. From what I understand, it might take you 4 or 5 tries to get it, but YOU WILL GET IT! The scottie is one of the easiest to do, so it's more of a matter of figuring out what they want. So, it might take you a couple of extra tries to figure that out, but you will get it..so don't give up! I am coming to the understanding that I EXPECT things to take 4 or 5 tries, so that way I am not disappointed when I don't pass. Now, if it's more than that, I think I will be bummed, but I will still keep trying...except...you know...the evil horse..LOL

So, hang in there and give yourself a few more tries...it's more figuring out what they want than how well you are at crafting!

Justmeuc, Thanks for the tip on the new glue gun. My daughter found one by her and mailed it to me. It is great. Just what I have been looking for. This gun should even make your evil horse easier!LOLYour experiences are very encouraging anyway! Good Luck!

melaniesue2 do not give up. You can even order the DVD for the toering. I heard people say that it helped alot. You would however need their permission if you want to sell there products at craft shows. Good Luck.

Hey Everyone! My name is Diana and I just registered here on WAHM but have been looking at the site for the last several days as a reference on the NEC company. All of your posts have helped me decide to give them a try! I just ordered the kit for the Zebra hobby and had them include the Gingerbread house sample so I could take a look. The steps described over the phone for it seemed a little much at once.....is anyone working on either of these at the moment? and do any of you live in florida, specifically near the orlando area? I am excited to get my kit and was wondering how long it takes for anything to get here.

Hi Moongdss81,
Good luck with NEC, I have been with them about 2 yrs. now and am so happy that I took the leap of faith and tried them! I have a sample of the zebra, It is so cute. I don't do it though painting is not my thing!! Maybe when the new forum is up and running you can get help there. I think most of the people here are working on the magnets.
