Hi Everyone,
I have been reading buthave not posted in a while. I got my snowman back, I did not pass, I did not expect to as this was my first try, I sent it in againabout a week ago and have not heard back. Is there any easier project out there? (I know none of them are easy, but maybe easier???) I cannot seem to get the wool wrapped correctly. Any ideas?? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. ![]() -Rosie |

Hi everyone! Glad to join you here, and hope you feel the same. I'm finding this place absolutely invaluable. Just found out about NEC and thinking of checking it out. Looks like most of you are doing either the kitty, the scottie, or the drum. Any general suggestions to a beginner on what to check out first? Thanks y'all.Edited by: ALL4J

leigha I hope you pass something soon. rosie1 I know what you are goign through with the wool wrapping. I am still trying to get passed with the sheep. Still waiting to hear back from my second inspection. I also bought the DVD to see how the wool was wrapped and it did help to see what direction to wrap.
The scottie would probably be easy ALL4J and also if you like painting.

Oh, that would make my mellenium!!!! but he's not worth the postage...LOL![]() I think I might try the sitting poodle magnet for an exchange, and I might also buy another project andtry the tutus. I think I might pass on at least 2 (I pray) of the projects I am doing now, hopefully 3, but I am not sure about the 3rd one. After I pass those, I am going to try for the tutus then. I'm steering clear of the sheep...

True, true. But at least you know the option is available for him if you ever change your mnd. ![]() Good luck everyone on your inspections. You all have more patience than I do at those projects.

Thanks for the suggestions! I did consider buying the DVD, but I didn't want to spend the money if it wasn't helpful, but I might get it anyway. I have another question. How many times do I have to fail inspection before they will let me switch to a different project? Even though the snowmen are cute as can be,it took me two hours to do one, and I still did not pass

rosie1 I know that the wool wrapping can be very difficult. I really think the sheep is cute and so is the snowman. The DVD did help to show me in what direction to wrap and how to wrap. The instructions was a bit confusing so that is why I got the DVD. My first sheep looked liked it hair a wild hairdo and yes it took me a long time to practice after wasting nearly all the wool. Then I decided to get the DVD. It took a week for me to receive. Even the second time round was a little hard but I am sure with practice it will get easier. If I do not pass after a certain number of tries I will then swap it out.
