Angel16 you can only make upto the max and then you would need to move onto another project. I have not reached max on any as yet but that is from what I understand.

You work your way up to max and may continue that way

Angel16~
As far as I understand it, you can make a max amount in say a months time, then after that you can't submit anymore until the next month. But you can still work on the same project. You don't need to switch, you can continue to make the same project for as long as you like, you are just limited to how many you turn in, in any one month. Does this help?

Hi - I am very new at this and have been checking out all the places you are all talking about. This sounds like alot of fun and an easy way to make money. Has anyone tried the CD case at NEC?? It looks easy enough but you never know.

I'm working on it now. I just sent in my second trial. I'm prettty sure it's not going to pass, but I'm getting a lot closer. I'm just struggling with the 1/4 seam allowance. (Apparently I'm way more used to using the 5/8 inch that my home ec teacher taught us. )
The project basically is a small fabric cd holder with some batting between layers and a little applique decoration. You have to cut out a felt poodle, hot glue it to the fabric, and do a little embellishment.

I hope this helps!

Well, I got my inspections back (3rd tries) on all my projects. Seems I have the same thing wrong with all of them. Cut smoother. I have a VERY sharp pair of scissors I use, and cut in long even strokes. I don't know how to get it any smoother. If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.

I wanted to get back to you all about that glue gun I bought at walmart. It's an AdTech Project Pro high temp glue gun with a needle nozzle tip that I bought for under $5 at walmart. Well, if you don't have one...I suggest you go buy one! I LOVE it. It gets into the small corners with a small bead so it makes a much neater and more accurate bead of glue where you want it. The only problem I have had with it is...it has a tendency to drip a bit or continue to drip. Maybe I pushed the sticks in too far..

I already made my next samples and they are in envelopes ready for the mailman to pick them up and deliver them. The new glue gun made it a lot faster for me, and easier. I can SEE where I am putting the glue now! So, it's just a waiting game again...

And for all of you who have been following my carousel horse nightmare....I sent in a 4th sample and am awaiting a reply. It doesn't look good at this point..LOL I will keep you all posted as the drama unfolds...LMAO

Good luck justmeuc, I'm sorry you keep getting stuck on the same problems. That's frustrating.

They said after the 5th try on the horse you can switch right?
